sunlit river, The river runs through a valley of lush green grass, where horses of any alliance may simply hang out and socialize. Although, not many darks turn up here, and if they do, be aware. Moderator: ..sophie..
eastern ridge, The cliffs are treacherous, but the horses of Cythera can easily navigate the terrain down to the valley of grass and a pond down below. Here, horses of any alliance may come and gather, although darks tend to show up here as well. Moderator: ..sophie..
Crystal Waters Crystal Waters is a gigantic lake bordered to the south by a mountain range. It is a days walk to reach the ocean, you only need to follow the river that empties from the lake. The lake surrounded by meadows of grass and wildflowers mainly, except for one side, which is a dense forest. Halfway between the forest and the lake is a massive oak tree, with a maple of matching size next to it. This is the sleeping place for the lead stallion and his mares. There is an orchard of apples and pears to one side, with the odd plum tree thrown in. Darks rarely come here, for they are forewarned of the greeting they would receive should they enter. Cair Pedevel This is a beautiful piece of land, it has a big winding green field. It also has a huge, sparkling blue waterfall with a tunnel leading behind it into a cave. the cave walls are studded with diamonds. the cave is big enough to fit at least 40 horses inside, the big cave also has a bunch of smaller caves inside of it. Lyaro Lyaro is home a masive forest and many different animals. The forest is great for cooling off in the summer, and is beautiful in fall when the leaves turn colors. The lake in the middle of Lyaro catches light when the sun rises and glistens with beauty. Espejo A clear icy liquid that flows in a slow moving creek above the high rocky slope. It then falls into the falls below. The creek continues until it opens to another set of falls, except that it splits the creek into four and they each fall into different waterfalls. In the middle of the set of falls, is a large grassland, and there is another piece of land connected to it that leads out of the falls to a large, grassy plain, that expands for acres and acres of land, most of the expanse consisting of beutiful glowing wildflowers. Medium sized peices of forests speckle the grassland, making nice places to explode as well as the hidden caves behind the waterfalls that lead to escape routes that are blocked by boulders to the outside. Far to the back of the terrain, on the other side to the right, a series of oak trees form a large circle of some sort, making up the specific place for the lead stallion to reside. Surrounding the entire terrain is a very steep mountain range, with only one entrance, to the north where theres a gap, and exits known only to the herd. Vulcan Islets It is farther off in the east than most of the neutral terrafirmas because it resides near the grand oceanic. This terra borders the others, and often has tribunes from the other terras or unclaimed areas. The beach is not where you'll be living by far. No, this land resides in every changing conditions, always braving the storms that pound its rocky shores and clashes of seasons. This is a different land just by the beach and air. The sand is sable and the air thick with salt and sulfur. Clearly their is a volcanic activity hear that cannot be seen easily. Still if you gaze out onto the bay, you see there are seven small islands; each of which holds a different offering to those equines. Be warned though, you may have to wait a while till you can cross at low tide, even then it might be good to know how to swim; only during winter when the sea freezes can you cross without worry. Once across, you'll come onto the first island that is the smallest- and with the air much cleaner and refreshing I might add. It is constantly has part of it's surface submerged in the water, but a few plants thrive on it to offer protection. Only on this island can you see that the six other islands are curved inwards like a crescent moon. Moving onto the other islands is much different. They are larger and can sustain life with the rich soil and small hot springs. Sarcadia Cliffs There are tons of pine trees scattered throughout the terra and it has a few grazing pastures. It has steep hills in some places and even cliffs. This terra resides at the side of a mountian. Escarcha Montana This land is known to pop up sudden snowstorms. If herd members don't stick together, they get lost and sometimes die. Down below the mountain, there is enough food to sustain the herd. There are plenty caves for shelter's adn plenty of room for foals. Duthe (1 sub-board) Here is a land ment for the darks. The nights are cold so cold many cant survive, especaly those light equines. There is grass here, good luck finding green grass, its there. The only pond there relys on the rains to keep it filled, but the rains raly reach here. The forest is where the leader spends his time. Its a dark place, for the leaved on there, keep the sunlight out. Its a good place to hide from the heat of the days here. The meadow is where you will find mothers and their young lounging around. Hollow Forest The screaming winds whistle through the trees as you step into the area of shadows and death. The aromas of these lands smell of the pines and rotting flesh, the only thing that keeps the lord seemingly happy. A large lake provides the herd's only water source, kept filled by the heavy rains of the wet season. The frequent storms make the forest one of the most dangerous areas of Cythera, these lands can be the paradise of the darks and the hell of the lights, all in one tightly taped package. Satan's Heavan Surrounded by dry, yellow grass is a bog, a swamp, where nothing but shrubs and decrepid trees grow. Crows cackle as in the dark muggy land, waiting for the death of a wanderer. Helpless screeching whinnies can be herd when wondering in here of those dying or being tortured by their merciless leader, Devil. If led by someone knowing of the land though, they can take you straight to the center, where only herd members can graze, drink, and bathe like royalty. Wheeping Canyon This is a well suited home for any dark. It has a long cavern that can protect them from anything that tries to attack them. It also has a lake like thing and it has a prairie.
